On Wedenesday it was my birthday, (But I had to work all day) We went to the Mex in Ocean Grove for dinner. All the family came (except Jarrod & his family as they are in Wang and of course Stevie...yes he was away fishing as usual, & Nellie cause she is in Hawaii....well maybe all the family didn't come..) Debbie my very best friend came to join me for dinner and we had a lovely time. I received some beautiful presents from everyone too. So thanks everyone for them and for coming. Steve did arrange for some beautiful flowers to be delivered to me at work , and Dalton bought me in a red balloon with Happy Birthday on it (from Spotlight) he tells me. I also had lunch with Rennae & Dalton at the Beach House. All in all a lovely daySunday, March 29, 2009

Farewell Aunty Janie

Yesterday Stephen & I went to his Aunty Janie's funeral. She was 90 but I would never have guessed she was that age. She was a most wonderful, caring and lovely person. Nothing was too much for her to do, and we were always very welcome at her place for a beautiful Roast Lamb lunch coooked on her woodfire (even with our rather large brood). She always seemed to have 6 or 7 different kinds of cakes, biscuits or slice for afternoon tea as well. It was a great pleaseure to have known her and we will miss her terribly
