Richards 60th

Today we helped celebrate my brother's 60th Birthday with a lunch at The Penninsula Hotel. There were about 40 family and friends there. My brother came down from Wedderburn (Vic) where he lives with his wife Jenny and one of his sons Aaron. We had a very enjoyable day, and it was good to catch up with nieces and nephews too.

Gifts from Jem & Jacinta

Yesterday Jem & Jacinta brought around breakfast to have with us before I went to work. They also brought some gifts they had bought for us on their overseas holiday in Hong Kong.

They bought the boys a belt each that has the flashing belt buckle. They have been wanting these for quite a while. I received a beautiful red & white scarf, red beaded bracelts & a silver compact mirror with red fish on it. I also reveived a gorgeous pearl bracelet from Aberdeen where Jeremy & Jacinta could actually watch the jewellery being made.

There was also one thing Jem could not resist...this pin cushion, as I had one years ago the same as this but mislaid it over the years. So it was a little blast from the past.

Thanks Jem & Jacinta, all the pressies are very much appreciated.

Something Special

Last night Danni, Jarrod, Aidan & Archer came down to stay with us for a week. We have not seen them since before Christmas. We gave out our Christmas presents, and I received a beautiful rose gold heart from them. On the card were the words "Now you'll always have our hearts near" It was a beautiful thought and I love it dearly. Thanks Everyone.

Late Christmas present

I have just received my Christmas present from Leah & Nathan. It came the other day in a parcel with some catalogues & letters and also Jacinta's Christmas present. I receieved this beautiful pendant & earrings to match. It is Maui Rainbow Jewellery handmade from finest art cathedral & dichroic glasses. It is kiln fired, hand cut & hand beveled. It is very pretty (unfortunatley the photo doesn't do it justice though, sorry!) so thanks once again Leah for my pressie. I love it x x x
